This past week we took Gabe to his first dental appointment. Him and all six teeth!! Of course there is not much that they do at this point but it is good to get him used to the dentist. He has to go back in a year and then we will see how everything looks again. Gabe is still working up the courage to walk. He will do it holding on to one of our fingers but standing or walking on his own is just not something that he is confident enough to do yet. He is coming up with all sorts of new sounds and words(ball, spongebob, and ohhh) and movements! He will throw himself down and start spinning in circles on his back. We think he got this from his lil friend Joseah who does the same thing to get Gabe to laugh. We are discovering as well that Gabe is a true mama's boy. He is stuck to me so much that I sometimes wish that he would spend some more time with his dad!! Although he says dada way more than he says mama. So who knows :-)
Everything else is moving along well for us. I am still continuing to look for a teaching position. I know when God feels it is the perfect position for me that then opportunity will present itself. It is just having the patience to wait for the position. Jason is starting to run as part of a training regime now instead of just doing it out of fun. Although for him the training is just as fun!! He is still hoping to qualify for Boston this year. My parents are coming to visit at the end of November and I am SOOO excited. It was not planned but the evening that they get here is the night of the Cowboys/Packers game. Jason and my dad have already started talking trash!! Either way the rest of there time spent here will be pretty interesting!!
Until next time!!
