Race, Swollen Fingers, Puppy eaten cord!

As always we continue to be busy. I am not sure why I even write that anymore since that seems that is all we ever are! Jason's race in Calvert was awesome. Jason had a time of 19:35 ( I may be off by a few seconds) and came in fourth over all. The top runner came in at a lil over 16:00. Everyone on the team placed in their age group. Which is such a huge accomplishment for everyone that is involved. For the summer the group will not be meeting officially until June. The next race that they are training for is the Coach Fran race on August 19th. Which by then Gabriel should be gracing us with his presence. So we are not thinking that Jason will be able to participate in that one. It is up to Gabe :-) My baptism was amazing. It was an event that I cannot even explain the feeling inside of making that sort of a decision. It was just amazing and wonderful and everything else. Tia and Raymond came over for the day and we went out for lunch afterwards as well. Tia even brought me rice!!!!!
The update on Gabe is that I am still feeling the movement, thank goodness I know, but nothing more than at the last update. He is basically letting me know that he is there and that is about it. I did have something very odd happen last night. Jason and I were heading to bed and my hand started aching. Before I knew it my ring finger on my right hand was swollen and hurting like there was no tomorrow. We put ice on it and took some tylenol. We figured if it still hurt in the morning that then I would go into the doctor. Well it was still swollen and hurting this morning so off to the dr I went. All it is a swollen joint. I guess it is a pretty common thing with younger women. So that was a big relief that it was no big deal. We are STILL working on the sonogram video. There are some technical difficulties with getting everything converted over to what we want but hopefully it will be on here soon.
We are down to one puppy. The second female got adopted at Petsmart on Saturday which we were really happy about. Fritz is the last one and it sounds as though someone will be adopting him this Saturday. They just wanted more time to think about it. Which means that we could be getting new pups on Saturday! I am excited but it would nice to have a break for a bit too. Even if we didn't get them until Monday that would be fine with me too. Fritz was in the house last night and ended up chewing through enough on Jason's battery cord to his laptop that it no longer works. So he is working on getting that fixed. Trying to do everything that he does on the desktop is just not working real well.
