Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great and busy weekend. On Friday night Jason threw me a surprise party and I was really surprised! It was at Roger and Heather's and we had some wonderful food and an ice cream cake for dessert. We played some games and just had a really good time visiting with everyone. Then on Saturday I spent the day at the spa! It was wonderful. I had an hour massage, pedicure, manicure, and facial. Jason had gotten me a gift certificate to get all this done for our anniversary. It was so relaxing and just amazing. They even gave me lunch when it was all over. While I was at the spa Jason went out the lake with some friends from church to get on their boat. Then Saturday night we had game night and had a small turnout but still had a wonderful time. Then Sunday we were at church most of the day, went to lunch and rented Nanny McPhee. It was such a cute movie. I have been wanting to see it since it was in the theater. Sunday was our One Year anniversary and it was so nice to get to spend some relaxing time together. Especially knowing that we did not have to go to work on Monday.
Jason has taken another new position at the church that he is really excited about. He is the Facilities Manager which means that he insures that the entire church is set up and taken down the way that it is supposed too. This weekend had a few kinks in it but Jason handled them with grace as always. We have another doctors appointment on Friday. I have found out that our doctor is going to be out of town on vacation during the time that I am due. So we are going to talk with her about what our options are so that I can have her there when Gabe comes. I am also going to be taking the glucose test on Friday. I have my first baby shower in Seguin a week and a half from now and I am SOOOOO excited. I know that Tia and the entire family are working really hard to make everything really nice. Which of course it is going to be perfect :-) I will make another update after Fridays appointment.
