Gabe is now a lil over 2 and a half months and getting so big! It is so hard to believe that it has already been over two months since he arrived. We had another action packed weekend. The girls were with us as well. On Saturday we went to the Sparktacular for College Station Utilities. The girls got to go up in the bucket trucks again and loved it. Gabe and I waited safely on the ground. Then we had a wedding reception that we attended. Gabe is getting his way around weddings. 2 in two weeks. The weekend before we headed to SanAntonio for the weekend. Gabe went to his first football game. Ringo, his second cousin, plays for San Marcos so we went to one of his games Friday night. Then we stayed in Seguin with Tia and then Saturday morning went and saw Ama his great grandma. After that we headed to meet Emery and Sunni at Starbucks in New Braunfels. We had not seen Emery since the wedding and holy moly had she gotten big! Sunni I had seen a couple months earlier at Gabe's baby shower but it was really nice to see her again. We didn't get long to visit because of course she was late (hehe) and we had to get to SanAntonio for Gabes uncle Sam's wedding. THEN we got up bright and early Sunday morning to make it back for church. It was a very long and stressful weekend to say the least. I wish that we would have been able to enjoy it a bit more. We packed way too much stuff too. It was his first out of town trip though so I guess that was expected. We now know more of what we do and don't need to bring when we take him out of town again.
I also returned to work last week Monday. It was really hard leaving him but I know that he is staying with the next best thing to his mom or dad! A awesome women from church is taking care of him during the day. I know that once he gets big enough to play Josaih is going to be really ready to play with him. He is so sweet to Gabe and likes him a whole lot. I am continuing to look for another job. I was not selected for the Texas A&M position that I was in the running for. I was the second choice so...that was disappointing but at the same time that was not where God wants me. Currently I am continuing to move along with Starbucks. I have had three interviews so far and on Thursday I will be having my fourth! The one on Thursday will be with the Regional District Manager. From what I understand this should be the last one before they make a decision. I know that the new store where I would be working is opening in three weeks and the training that I have to go through lasts about 6 weeks. So keep me in your prayers for this position. Maybe I will be blessed enough to have a decision from them by Friday and be able to move onto the next chapter of things. I am definatly ready.
We are also going to go and get professional pictures this weekend with Gabe. We thought that we would have a pretty low key weekend this weekend but then once we got to church on Sunday everything started to fill up! So we are pretty busy every night this week and through the weekend. Which is a good thing but then gets a bit old when you just need to relax. We are hanging in there though and making all the adjustments that are needed right now.
