Little More rested

Jason is in Memphis this weekend. His friend Jason's father passed away so he is there for the funeral. This means that it has been me and Gabe since early yesterday morning!! It has not been all that bad but we sure do miss him. He is going to be flying back tomorrow morning hopefully in time to make the second service at church. Gabe has been sleeping a lot better at night. Most nights in the last week or so he is asleep by 10:30 and then I feed him once in the middle of the night and then he sleeps until 5:00am or so. Which is a whole lot better than what we were at. During the day he had gotten up to 4 hour intervals but we are now back to 2 and a half since yesterday. Which I am happy to do during the day and not at night. We have just about made a decision on where he is going to go for child care. I have made up my mind but that happened while Jason was in Memphis so as long as he is on board then we are set to go. Unfortunately I am not sure that they have an opening until November since we have dragged our feet on making a decision. I am going to call on Monday and do my best to get him in at the beginning of October. I am supposed to go back to work on October 2nd so we will see how all that works out. I have gotten word that the stability in the that position is not looking good. I am of course going to continue to look for other places to work. Now that Gabe is here we have to have me in a stable position or financially things will get even more difficult than they already are.
Gabe is getting bigger! I have no idea how much he weighs but he has to be over 7 and a half pounds for sure. He has his two month check up at the end of this month. Then we will find out how much he has really gained. Yesterday I took him through his first car wash! He was very quiet the entire time. I am pretty sure that he was asleep and when he sleeps almost nothing will wake him.
We are going to spend the day today watching football. We are going to go on our walk after I feed him here in a lil bit. We are looking forward to the Texas/Ohio State game this evening. A&M also plays today but as far as I know they are not going to be televised. So the Texas game we will watch :-) All right time for Gabe to eat! Until next time....
