2 week check up

Gabe is now a lil over 2 weeks old. It is so hard to believe that it has already been that long. He just brings Jason and I so much joy and happiness. It is truly amazing. My parents got here yesterday and it has been so nice having them here. Marie is cooking up a storm and dad is loving holding his grandson. We had a doctors appointment this morning for Gabe's 2 week check up. He is now 6 lbs 8 ounces which is awesome! He is finally over his birth weight. He also got circumsized today and that was pretty hard for me. Jason and Marie were in the room wiht him during the procedure. I was just not able to be in there. He is sore but healing well. Everything with him is doing extremely well. He is growing and progressing just as he should be. He is starting to lift his head on his own which he has been doing since he was about a week old. He is so strong and just tries so hard in everything lil thing that he is doing. It is just such an amazing blessing to have him in our lives. I can't even say it enough. We will be posting new pictures soon of my parents with Gabe. Until the next update.....
