Feeling Movement!!

Little did I know that the rippling feeling that I have been feeling for almost a week has been lil Gabe! It sure is a strange sensation to feel another human moving around in your belly. It is really exciting. Jason and I had a wonderful three day Easter weekend. We were really busy with church activities. I am now working at the resource table prior and after each church service and Jason has been helping with parking on occasion in addition to all the other church activities that he is involved in! He is continuing to get his 5k Ministry Team ready for their race in Calvert on May 6th. We are headed today to get information and pricing on t-shirts for the team. It has been awesome to see Jason's growth as a leader since he started this group. It is great to see other people see him for as great of a person and as an inspiration and leader as I always have :-)
We have also taken on another endeavor as if we are not busy enough! We are now foster parents for the Brazos County Animal Shelter. Which means that when the shelter is full and they need the space for other animals we take them into our home. We are trying to help so that they do not have to put down so many animals due to over crowding. The shelter provides all the food and dishes, etc we just have to love them. Which we do a great job at! Right now we have three 8 week old Australian Shepard puppies. I am going to get Jason to post some pictures of them. They are very sweet. They will be going to the shelter adoptathon on April 29th so we will be returning them on April 28th to the shelter. Then we wait for another new dog to foster. Surprisingly Emma has not been happy at all about the puppies being around but JJ is sure acting like a daddy! He follows them everywhere and keeps an eye on them. He even plays with them and doesn't crush them with all his excitement!! We have another check up appointment on May 1st so I will be sure to update everyone on how that went once it gets here.
Looks like we are going to be heading to the pool with the girls this weekend. As well as a bunch of other activities that are going on in town that we are hoping they will enjoy.
