Emilia's death has become a springboard for us. It has shown us in so many different ways that we should not wait for the future to come to us, but that we should be shaping our future as we feel the Lord would have us do.
While our physical bodies heal from the trauma of never seeing our awesome girl Emilia, our spirit knows differently.
It's important for all of you to know that the last moments we had with Emilia were also some of the best of our lives. There really was no stone left unturned, and she left us feeling proud of her.
We miss her, we love her, but we also ache to have what she does now, and that is the eternal life she is sharing with Regina, Bruce and our awesome God.
God shaped Emilia in front of our eyes to shape us. Now we must take that and shape others.
