Hold On Gabe!

Jason and I had a bit of a scare yesterday. I have been feeling pretty yucky since Monday. Naseau, extremely tired, and some cramping. The cramping got worse yesterday afternoon so I called my nurse who asked me to come right in. They put me on the fetal monitor and Gabe was doing wonderful. Moving like crazy. The monitor that checks to see if there is any uterine contractions was picking up small contractions about every 2 minutes. I was definatly not feeling that much. So after being on the monitor for a half hour or more the doctor examined me and let us know that I was just slightly dialted. So she sent us to the hospital to be put on iv's to stop the contractions. So Jason and I spent several hours in a really nice labor and delivery room!! Unfortunatly Jason was much more comfortable than me. I felt like I was getting poked and proded more than anything. They found out that I have a urinary tract infection which from what I have been told is very common in pregnancy. The UTI was causing the contractions. So I am home from work today and on antibiotics. I am still feeling the contractions at times but they have said that as long as they are not more than 3-4 hour that I am ok. So we are going to keep an eye on things and hope that everything is back under control.

I will update again as things happen.
