First of all Happy New Year to everyone. We hope everyone is having a great start.
The family traveled to Bandera last weekend for Christmas and we had a great time. It was nice to get away and spend as much as we did with Mom and Bruce.
Cyrus and Ethan were there, along with Simone when everyone opened presents.
Susan the girls and I even visited the new Shops at La Cantera. It's a really nice place. It was different from the typical enclosed malls, as the center of the mall is totally exposed and all the shops are located very close to each other, without the hassle of walking to a second or third floor. Of course the whole reason for going to La Cantera was for the girls to spend their Build a Bear Gift certificates.
We have been spending the last week trying to come up with a plan on how to tackle our house issue. We stopped by a house yesterday and looked at it. It was very spacious, and it had many of the things we are needing and also wanting.
Wednesday, Alex and Rebecca came over to watch the National Championship game. We had so much fun watching the Longhorns put it to the Trojans. Susan Says happens to have a write up about the game.
Tonight (Saturday) is another edition of Game Night. It is something we host for the people of Brazos Fellowship and of course anyone else that would want to come to it.
